Luminacle

Terms of Service

Effective November 5, 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern the website design and website operation services that Paternoster (PATER NOSTER), a business registered in Seoul, Korea (“we”), provides under the name Luminacle (the “Service”).

2. Definitions

  • Customer: a business or person who has signed a website build contract or a care plan with us.
  • Customer site: the website we build for a customer and run on our servers.
  • Care plan: the monthly plan (Basic, Pro, Business) that covers hosting, domain management, the customer dashboard and KakaoTalk notices.
  • Customer dashboard: app.luminacle.com, where a customer sees inquiries, bookings, visits, blog posts, edit requests and invoices.
  • Visitor: anyone who visits a customer site or leaves an inquiry or booking there.

3. Contract

  • A build contract starts when you approve our quote and sign the contract. Quotes and contracts may be exchanged electronically.
  • The care plan starts on the day your site goes live, at the plan and billing cycle written in your quote or contract.
  • Where your contract says something different from these terms, the contract prevails. An inquiry or questionnaire alone is not a contract.

4. Building your site

  • Scope, price, schedule, acceptance criteria and revision rounds are set in the contract. Unless the contract says otherwise, 50% is paid on signing and 50% after the agreed acceptance.
  • Extra work requested after signing is priced and scheduled before we start it.
  • You confirm you have the right to use the copy, photos and logos you give us, and you are responsible for any claim arising from them.
  • Ownership of the deliverables, and domain transfer and hand-over when the service ends, are set in the contract.

5. What the care plan includes

  • Hosting, registration and renewal of one standard domain, the customer dashboard and the plan’s KakaoTalk message allowance. The features of each plan are listed on luminacle.com and in the dashboard.
  • New feature development, ad management, photography, copywriting and premium domains are not included and are agreed separately.
  • Language pages are machine-translated with AI and not reviewed by a person.
  • AI search (AEO) and ad tracking show where you stand; they do not guarantee visibility, citations or ad results.

6. Fees and payment

  • Care plans are Basic KRW 49,000, Pro KRW 99,000 and Business KRW 199,000 a month, before tax. Prices shown in US dollars on our site are approximate conversions; your quote states the amount and currency you pay.
  • Fees are paid in advance at the start of each period. Yearly billing charges 10 months for 12 months of service.
  • Messages beyond the plan’s allowance are added to the next invoice; we tell you before you reach it.
  • We give at least 30 days’ notice of a price change, which applies from the first renewal after the notice.
  • Upgrades apply at once and the difference for the rest of the period is charged then; downgrades apply from the next period.

7. Failed payments

If a renewal fails we tell you and retry 1, 3, 7 days after the bill date. If it is still unpaid we may, after a further 7 days and a separate notice, pause your site and dashboard until the balance is paid.

8. Changes after launch

  • There is no site editor. You request changes in the dashboard and we make them. On plans with a blog, you write blog posts yourself.
  • Changes after launch are not free: they are priced by scope from the price list in the dashboard, and new pages, structural changes and new features are quoted separately. We start once you approve and pay the quote; timing depends on the request and our queue.
  • If you do not answer within 7 days after we ask you to review finished work, the request is treated as complete.

9. Fair use

Care plans do not limit the number of visitors. If a site uses far more than an ordinary business site would (large file distribution, abnormal or automated traffic), we will tell you in advance and agree a solution with you. If we cannot agree, or the use affects other customers, we may restrict that use or charge for it.

10. Your responsibilities

  • Do not publish unlawful content or content that infringes anyone’s rights.
  • For visitors’ inquiries and bookings on your site, you are the controller and we process them on your behalf. You publish a privacy notice on your site and use visitors’ data only for its purpose.
  • Admins you invite to the dashboard act on your behalf.

11. Cancelling

You can cancel the care plan at any time from the dashboard or by writing to support@luminacle.com. It ends on the last day of the period you have paid for. When it ends we close the site and dashboard; visitors’ personal data is kept for 30 days and then deleted, and payment records are kept only as long as tax law requires. We may end the contract if you seriously breach these terms and do not fix it after notice.

12. Availability and liability

We may pause the Service for maintenance or because of outages, including those of hosting, KakaoTalk or payment providers, and give notice where we can. Except for intent or gross negligence, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost sales, and our liability is limited to the care plan fee you paid for the month in which the loss occurred. Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer law where you live.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. We will first try to resolve any dispute in good faith; failing that, it is settled by the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
